Declaration Practice: instructions and practice
Begin with the objective. Check whether a complete 13-card hand can satisfy every declaration requirement. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear. Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Start a 10-question session. Read the visible rule label and wild rank, if shown. Use another round to revisit a decision.
500 stored and rule-checked questions; ten questions per session. Questions can repeat across sessions. Practice is solo, with no rating, cash reward or account.
Something to practise
Keep the active rule in mind. All cards need a non-overlapping grouping, at least two sequences and at least one pure sequence. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.
What you are aiming for
Check whether a complete 13-card hand can satisfy every declaration requirement. Use another round to revisit a decision. Work at your own pace.
From the start of a round
- Start a 10-question session. Read the visible rule label and wild rank, if shown.
- All cards need a non-overlapping grouping, at least two sequences and at least one pure sequence.
- Study the complete hand before answering. Choose Valid or Not valid.
- Read the explanation after submitting. Each question accepts one submitted answer.
- Continue to the tenth question for a session score; start another session for a new selection.
How to interact with the game
Tap the answer buttons or selected card; the deadwood exercise uses a numeric input. Next question appears after an answer. Take the next action only when the current step is clear. Treat this as a chance to practise one rule.
A closer look at one example
Example hand: Q♣ J♥ A♣ 3♠ 9♥ 2♣ 4♠ 10♣ 6♠ K♦ A♦ A♦ 7♠. Wild rank 8. No full grouping meets the two-sequence and pure-sequence requirement. The penalty for this hand is 80 points. Check the relevant controls before continuing.
Avoid this misunderstanding
Keep the active rule in mind. Do not judge only the best three cards; every remaining card matters. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.
A few questions answered
What is the aim?
Check whether a complete 13-card hand can satisfy every declaration requirement. Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.
How do I use the controls?
Tap the answer buttons or selected card; the deadwood exercise uses a numeric input. Next question appears after an answer. Take a moment to read the table. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.
Which format is available?
500 stored and rule-checked questions; ten questions per session. Questions can repeat across sessions. Practice is solo, with no rating, cash reward or account. Keep the active rule in mind. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.
What should I check before a move?
Do not judge only the best three cards; every remaining card matters. Work at your own pace. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
Can you give an example?
One pure run, another joker-assisted run and two complete sets can cover a valid 13-card hand. Take a moment to read the table. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.
How many questions are available?
This exercise contains 500 stored questions. A session selects ten without repeating within that session. Use the rule sheet as a reference. Use another round to revisit a decision.
Can I change a submitted answer?
No. Read the explanation, then continue. Start another session to practise again. Use the rule sheet as a reference. Use another round to revisit a decision.
Are the answers checked against the rules?
All cards need a non-overlapping grouping, at least two sequences and at least one pure sequence. For a calm first round, focus on one decision. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.
Will I always see new cards?
No. The bank is finite, so another session may include a previously played question. Begin with the objective. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
What does the score measure?
The score is the number of correct answers in this ten-question session. It is not a skill certificate or a prediction of match results. Take a moment to read the table. Use another round to revisit a decision.
