How to play Dominoes

Make Dominoes your next activity in the game library. Empty your hand, or hold fewer pips when both players are blocked. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Check the rule that explains your first action. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move.

Double-six draw dominoes, local two players with shared-screen visible hands.

Try a more deliberate round

Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Notice the feedback after each input.

The purpose of your moves

Empty your hand, or hold fewer pips when both players are blocked. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Try to explain the aim in your own words.

How to proceed

  1. Play a tile matching either open chain end.
  2. Choose which end to use.
  3. Draw only when no tile fits.
  4. Pass only with no legal tile and an empty stock.

Controls

Click or tap a piece and destination; use the turn indicator and legal-move feedback. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.

Try this example

An open 4 accepts 4–2, leaving 2 open. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Choose a deliberate next step.

One detail worth checking

You cannot ignore a legal match to draw. Read the feedback to see why an action did not have the expected result. Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules.
